Welcome to Southern Volks Folks Ireland
The Southernvolksfolks© owners club is the longest running Volkswagen owners club in Ireland. Formed in Waterford in 1989 by a group of local enthusiasts, the club has now got members nationwide.
The club is now based in Dublin. Volkswagens in the club range from Beetles, Buses to Golf GTI's and everything in between. The club aims to bring together like-minded VW enthusiasts throughout the country.
We meet up on a monthly basis for a Burger Run. We also attend Classic Car shows & events during the summer at Terenure College, Swords National Showgrounds, Celbridge, Limerick, Insioge, Blessington, and Lusk. Members of the club also make annual trips to overseas shows such as the Volksworld, VW Action, Vanfest and have even been known to attend some of the large California shows.
There is also an active forum here where members can keep in contact with the latest news and to inform visitors to the site of club events..We are also now on facebook. We welcome new members at all times, a membership application form can be found on the Membership page. You don't have to drive a VW regularly to join, just be a VW enthusiast!
